What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?
The minimum age to rent any vehicle is 21 years old.
What documents do I need to provide?
You must present: • A valid driver’s license (for scooters and motorcycles). • A form of identification (passport or ID card). • A valid payment method for the security deposit.
How much is the security deposit?
Scooters & Motorcycles: €150 Buggies: €300
What is the excess in case of damage or theft?
Without additional insurance: €475 With additional insurance: €50
How much does the insurance cost to cover excess?
8€ per day, with a minimum of 3 days required
What is the pickup and drop off time
Pickup: Rentals must be collected from AHS MALTA between Monday & Saturday from 8:00 to 13:30. Sundays & Public Holidays in Malta, no pick ups. Drop off: Vehicles can be returned any day at any time
What happens if I return the vehicle late
Late returns may incur additional charges. If you expect to be late, please notify us as soon as possible.
Do I need to return the vehicle with a full tank?
Yes, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was rented.
What should I do if the vehicle breaks down?
Contact AHS Malta immediately for assistance. Unauthorized repairs are not allowed
Can someone else drive the vehicle?
No, only the registered renter is allowed to operate the vehicle.
What happens if I get a traffic fine or parking ticket
The renter is fully responsible for any fines, tickets, or legal violations during the rental period.
. Is insurance included in the rental price?
Basic insurance is included, covering third-party liability. Additional coverage is available to reduce the excess.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellations are possible however the 20% deposit fee is not refundable.

Yes, however subject to availability
